About Knox Hockey Club

Knox Hockey Club is based in the outer eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and an active member of the local Knox community.

We compete in the Hockey Victoria competition, which runs from April to September each year, and also includes separate Indoor and Summer competitions, as well as championships in which our members compete (such as the Junior State Championships). Hockey starts for children as young as 5, 6, 7 or 8 with Hookin2Hockey, which is the introductory program. Junior competition run in age groups, from Under 10’s, U12’s, U14’s, U16’s to U18’s, before open age senior mens and womens competitions from social to highly competitive, and mid-week masters competitions for players 45 years old and above.

Known as “Knox Eagles” the club is proud to boast 5 open age mens teams, 6 open age ladies teams and 6 masters teams, and an ever growing & successful junior section of 8 teams. We have a large number of teams catering for all ages and skill levels. Knox Hockey Club comprises of Men’s, Women’s, Master’s and Juniors’ sections with around 350 playing members.

As a club we welcome all players whether you be a male, female, new, old, young, or an experienced player who enjoys the game of hockey and who wants to achieve their best in a friendly and successful club.

Our home turf is located at the Knox Community Sporting Centre, The Knox School, Burwood Hwy, Wantirna (Melways Ref Map 63, E-10).
